The COVID-19 pandemic has really increased feelings of loneliness and isolation, especially among older adults. Managing various sensors and keeping up with paper-based surveys for the elderly can be tricky and unreliable.

That’s why we created iCareLoop. It’s a smart data collection and management system with a simple user interface made especially for seniors.

iCareLoop features an easy-to-use survey app, provides visual updates on sensor and survey statuses, and has alerts for missing data, making life easier for researchers.

We’ve included feedback from our stakeholders and are always working to improve user satisfaction. Our preliminary analysis shows the potential uses and quality of the data collected by iCareLoop.

We believe the insights from this project will be really valuable for future research on elderly care, especially in a post-COVID-19 world.
